ISA changes its headquarters to IPN
On the day ISA – Intelligent Sensing Anywhere celebrates its 24th birthday, April 30th, the company inaugurates its new headquarters in the newly constructed Building D of the Instituto Pedro Nunes – Association for Innovation and Development in Science and Technology (IPN). The company joins one of the most renowned institutes in this area, increasing its physical proximity to the finest international works developed in the science and technology fields.
ISA is a technology-based company specialized in the development of solutions (hardware, software and services) for Smart Cities, aimed to optimize energy consumption at every home and business, and to increase efficiency in water, gas and electricity distribution networks.
Founded on April 30th, 1990, by a team of recently graduated young engineers, as a University of Coimbra spin-off, ISA has grown over the past two decades in the Portuguese market and especially in the international markets. Today the company has around 100 000 telemetry systems installed over 30 countries on five continents. It holds a portfolio of projects with renowned clients in energy efficiency, with focus on BES and ANA Airports, and in the Oil&Gas sector, where ISA provides products and services to the sector’s biggest players like Galp, Total, Repsol, BP, Shell, Primagaz and Butagaz.
Headquartered in Coimbra (Portugal), ISA has offices in Spain, France and Brazil, and a network of representatives in several geographies.
