With a team of highly specialised engineers which has been growing since its formation in 1990, ISA has the ability to respond to the constant demands of the market, presenting effective and efficient solutions. This potential is reinforced by a close link to the University of Coimbra and to a local research laboratory Instituto Pedro Nunes, establishing a bridge for technology transfer.

Looking to a perspective of enhancing its research capabilities in a large variety of areas and also seeking for means of enlarging its commercial range, ISA has been establishing multiple partnerships with other companies, including sometimes the acquisition of shares in these companies. Thanks to its know-how in telemetry and instrumentation, ISA is involved in a variety of consortiums together with other companies, Universities and European research laboratories, in the scope of Eureka and CRAFT projects.

ISA has the purpose of improving the manufacture efficiency as well as the quality of its products and after sales services.
