iComLink is a GSM/GPRS gateway that allows the remotization of serial RS232, RS485, Ethernet and I/O ports. Moreover, iComLink can enable a wireless long distance link to corporative data communication solutions. Using iComLink it is possible to connect, through GPRS, with traditional serial devices like POS, terminals and displays.

ISA’s structure in Spain has been strengthened with the opening of a new office in the Madrid Scientific and Technology Park which integrates 3 full time employees and represents a forecast of 1 million euros of revenue inside the Spanish market.

In France ISA has established a partnership with EspaceCom Services, a local informatics reseller based at Sannois/Paris. The structure was enlarged, comprising now a staff of 4 people who manage businesses in Switzerland, Belgium and North Africa, beside France.

ISA at International Trade Fairs

ISA is reinforcing its presence at international Trade Fairs in order to obtain more notoriety in a fast moving and competitive market.

Hannover Messe, the world’s most important technology event was held in Hannover, Germany, between the 16th and the 20th April 2007. ISA was present for the first time at this event, presenting their new and innovative solutions for AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) and M2M (Machine to Machine), at the Research and Technology Hall.

Simultaneously, ISA joined forces with the Turkish partner G@S (ESTA Group) to be present at the Petroleum Istambul Fair, which took place in Turkey between the 19th and the 22th April. This bi-annual event gathers 25.000 people and focuses mainly on the Oil and Gas sectors. Turkey is a strong and strategic market for ISA and the efforts made to enter this sector have started to show some results, as the biggest players of the market begin to acknowledge ISA as a valid and strong company.

EDP promotes energy efficiency

EDP, the Portuguese electrical company, has chosen ISA's product iMeter as the main requirement of their energy efficiency program (PPEC) concerning the company’s buildings. The project is due to start in July at the EDP Valor building. With this implementation significant savings are expected, as well as an optimization of electricity consumption, mainly caused by illumination. The proposed system will also allow the remote management of most of the electrical devices in the building.

PPEC (Promoting plan for consumption efficiency) is an initiative promoted by ERSE (Energetic Services Regulatory Entity), contemplated in the Energy National Strategy, which aims to stimulate and increase energetic consumption efficiency.
