European Utilities Intelligent Metering Barcelona 28. - 29. May 2008 ISA exhibits innovative solutions for energy efficiency at European Utilities Intelligent Metering 2008. Worldwide renowned as one of the market leaders in the remote management for utilities, including telemetry and remote metering solutions for gas, fuel, electricity and water, ISA will take the opportunity of another global event to present its products, solutions and services for the energy market. The upcoming event is the 4th Annual European Utilities Intelligent Metering, in Barcelona, where ISA will be promoting the iMeter, an entire line of products dedicated to energy efficiency. The iMeter has been shaped to monitor electrical, gas and water consumptions, helping families reduce their energy bills, in a comfortable, safe way. Besides providing information on electrical, gas and water consumptions, the iMeter range of products puts forward the possibility of an intelligent centralized consumption management, leak detection alarms, movement and presence detection, domestic appliances managing by the use of Bluetooth, among other useful energy saving features. ISA encourages research in electronics and information systems Awarding the ISA–Millenium bcp prize “Future promises” ISA will award the best Portuguese M.Sc and Ph.D graduation thesis in the fields of Physics Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering and Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering. The prize, to be attributed to the winning academic work, consists of 5 thousand euros, sponsored by Millenium bcp, and an attractive paid internship at ISA. The application submission should be made until May 31st, 2008. These will be assessed by a jury composed of University of Aveiro and Coimbra faculty, specially invited by ISA and Millenium bcp. With this recognition, ISA tightens its bonds with the academic world, getting closer to Portuguese national promises, while promoting, national research. ISA at AEGPL in Milan 28. - 30. May 2008 After the success at “Hannover Messe”, where ISA had the opportunity to promote predominantly OEM modules, another event of global relevance follows, this time in the Gas&Oil market. This year ISA will be present at the “2008 European LPG Conference and Exhibition”, which will take place between May 28th and 30th in Milan. Amongst more than 100 representatives from 40 different countries, ISA will again be promoting its services in the areas of Gas and Energy Efficiency, and demonstrating the potential of its main solutions by way of scale models. The added value services potentiated by the use of telemetry solutions contribute for the improvement of customers’ satisfaction and loyalty, since they fulfil the expectations of the largest utility distributors worldwide. The upcoming congress constitutes a huge and unique global event that will gather analysts, consultants, European politicians, experts and companies in the LPG business, in an event dedicated to technology and innovation developed in the European market of LPG.
