According to LP Gas survey of retailers “propane gallon sales have increased over the last five years for 62 percent of retailers”.
Many reasons occurs to sales go up and down. An up trending happen, most of all when retailers cite colder weather, new homebuilding, acquisitions and heating oil customer conversions. And the sales go down majority because of warmer weather, increasing propane competition, a lack of consumer confidence in pricing, and so on. With this variety of reasons, retailers are divided about the state of industry, half of retailers are satisfied with the current state, however 26% of this retailers aren’t satisfied with the state of their companies. In order to combat the fall of propane and educate consumers Propane Education & Research Council’s (PERC) will develop a campaign to increase retailer confidence already on 2016, which will drive a more use of propane.
