Last Friday Quantific was once again honoured in a ceremony which joined 53 SME Excellence companies from the Coimbra district and was attended by State´s Assistant Secretary of Economy and Regional Development, António Almeida Henriques. Being already honoured as SME Leader 2012, this double recognition has proven that the company´s financial strength and rentability ratios are above the national average.
Quantific provides data acquisition solutions for environmental monitoring applications for about a dozen countries with particular emphasis in the areas of meteorology, hydrometry, seismology, and also structural monitoring (bridges, dams, buildings). The company is consolidated to its activity in these areas of the national market since 1998 and today it is a provider to more that 400 reference entities, including laboratories, institutes, public universities (such as Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere, LNEC (National Laboratory of Civil Engineering), Vulcanology Center of University of Azores) and large companies, such as EDP, Refer, EFACEC, Mota Engil, Somague and Teixeira Duarte. During the last few years, the company has focused on external markets, in particular, Portuguese speaking countries, as well as R+D+I in collaboration with the entities of national scientific and technological system.
